I guess he is referring to my answer to one of his countless posts on the
lack of FE editing capabilities in t3. Appearently it seems to be not only a
lack of elaborate skills, but also a comprehensive skills. There was
actually no derogatory intent in my answer, - I was merely pointing out to
him, that...

1....modifying the FE by altering the CSS in the core files wouldn´t be the
correct way of handling core modifications. That he should take a look at
UX_ extensions.

2....He should go and check out mambo and webGUI, since they offer the FE
editing features he requests from t3 and have a far less steeper learning
curve. This was not intended as a critisizm, but as a helping hand, since he
(approximately) stated working with the PHP-based core wasn´t his thing - he
only wanted modifications through TS and CSS

3....That he should wait for dev team or extension authors to get around to
the issues he raises if he is not able to code the features himself. This
was also a reply to a mail sent privately to me from which I could decipher
that he wanted me to do 7-8 alterations of the FE editing capabilities
before I took out time to finish my own extension (tkr_toolbar). I don´t
usually do freelance, but for ´Tapio I´ll make an exception, though - I
charge 77 euros an hour, so feel free to sponsor me...

Well, I´ve disregarded his posts until now, since all I recieved from him
was a private mail, threatening to have me kicked off the list by
administrator...

"Hi

Why you try to insult me?
Seems that your purpose is to get totally rid of me and I should not
anymore never write to news.

I have critisized Typo3, BUT not been insulting towars someone like you
have done Your really have insulted me

I migth need to contact you to the admininstrator of the news in order
to block YOU out! Personal-level insulting doesn't belong to this kinds
of newsgroups. "

WELL, TAPIO - NO INSULT INTENDED!! - GET OVER IT!
