[Typo3-dev] how to add documentation to a extension?

Open Office is the official (and preferred) way of making
documentation for extensions (see Ingmars posting). It free and
can be used on many platforms.

But if that is not an option for you, we also have the Typo3
wiki. Put a link to your extension on this page:
  http://wiki.typo3.org/index.php/Overview_Extension_manuals
and name it like this: [[Ext <Your extension name>]].

Click in the link you made and put the extension template on the
page. You find the template here:
  http://wiki.typo3.org/index.php/Ext_template

If you have any more questions, please don´t hesitate to ask
them in the "typo3.projects.documentation" list!
