[Typo3-dev] 3.7 Features API-wise

Hi!

What's new in 3.7 that's for developers.

Any new APIs, extension of APIs, etc.

Rumour has it that there is a new localization scheme that involves XML.

PS: Code now, document later is fine, but how are folks supposed to test 
if they don't know what's new. So I suggest a dev-cycle like this:

addition of new APIs
fixing of major bugs
* beta release
fixing of bugs (old and new), UI tweaks
finishing the APIs
* release candidate
fixing blocker bugs
* final releas

This gives extension authors time to play around with new concepts. SO 
they can give feedback, can make suggestions, contribute improvements, etc.
