[Typo3-dev] truncated numbers with indexed search

Greetings! I've got a weird problem with the indexed search in version
3.6.2 that does not appear in 3.5.0: When I enter a number with more
than 2 digits into the search field as a search string, the last digit
is always truncated; if I enter a search string composed of just one or
two digits, the search will not function at all, i.e. it'll behave as if
no search string had been entered.

Any ideas?
