Hello list,

I would like to call attention to a problem, when you using multiple
domains in a unusual page tree structure - for multiple domains. I have
to show you the structure of my tree/ menue, first:

_ Home --> 1st domain
 |_ Rubric a
   |_ Menue 1
   |_ Menue 2
   |_ Menue 3 --> 2nd domain
 |_ Rubric b

Scenario A:
The visitor´s startpage would be the 1st domain and anything will be ok,
the the main menue presents all pages in the normal way, the content of
rubric a/menue 3 will be shown, if you click on it.

Scenario B:
The visitor´s startpage would be the 2nd domain and now the main menue
still presents all entries, but if you click on 'Home' you will not get
the content of 'Home' ... why? Because of the realtive paths inside the
menue, page 'Home' is completed by the 2nd domain, and so its hijacked
by the 2nd domain. There is no way out, all pages outside of the 2nd
domain will point to the 2nd domain!

Long explanation, short question ;-)
Is there a way out of the trouble ... Is there a Typo3 own functionality
to fix this behaviour?

The one and only 'hot fix' is to activate the redirection option inside
the domain record, so I can redirected the 2nd domain to 1st
domain/menue 3 ... But in this case the second domain is obsolete ...
:-(

Greetings,
André
