basically, we just need to have encoding utf8<->shift-jis, thats all.
But I just thought it might take some special attension like gb2312
which is multibyte. So basically I just suggested that you would analyse
the situation. Maybe it is straight ahead, maybe not.

In any case I would require any implementation to be tested with a
for-loop trying to convert the first 100000 chars to a from and testing
the conversion integrity. Its quite easy to make such a "unit-test" so
that we ensure that it cannot fail.
