I was aware that RFC822 allows for more that your average email regexp, 
but I didn't expect this monster.

I love features like comments and spaces:

firtsname . (comment) lastname  @ some.domain

should IIRC be treated as firtsname.lastname at some.domain

And there are also quotes with " and escapes with \...

Oh what fun! Such a pity you don't see such beauties in the wild.
