[Typo3-dev] calculation and display of filepermissions in filelist

Hi,

In my Installations
1. filepermissions are not reported as they actually are.
2. also the code seems to be prepared to display different icons to
reflect the permissions which is not really working as well.

Can anbody confirm this?
Is anybody firm how to calculate the filepermissions/bitmaks based on
different environments(safe_mode on/of, windows)?
