Looks for me like one of these ridiculous trivial patents. This patent is
about an idea which is currently not possible in the EU even if they have
been close to vote for something similar last year in the european
parlament, and as far as I know this law is "still flying" around their.....

> Kasper, is your great 'CMS' affected by this rule/patent?
If this type of patents would be legal in the EU I would say "yes", but then
there are so much of these patents out there that it really wouldnt matter.
Everything is protected by patents yet, stuff like the "preloader", often
seen in flashsites, the "scrollbar" etc to just to mention some of the most
ridiculous ones...

> I don´t know what america do with their patents - it´s step backwards what
they are doing.... first things linke 'double klick' now complete type of
systems, maybe we should > get a patent for breathing or a global patent
for operating systems.... Like Michael Moore said.... 'stupid white man'
....
Microsoft had to pay last year 500 Millions $ !!!! to a clever guy who was
holding a patent about "extending internetbrowsers"

This guy hasnt written his own browser nor was related with microsoft or
their internetexplorer....aynway and anyhow, as microsoft extended his very
own borwser this guy appeared on screen and was charging them 500 Millions
$, that is crazy and funny same time, as you can bet that MS is holding
hundreds of those ridiculous patents and was beaten with his own weapons,
and under this point of view you even could call it: justice ;o)

So what happens now??
Right now: nothing....and then ??? then get a good patentadvocat who will
manage all the rights related to your websites, like scrollbars, buttons,
preoloaders etc.....

cheers
