Hi,

| And students normally like the open-source stuff, so it's probably common
| for students to bring Typo3 to the companies. More students knowing (and
| liking) it will probably have it introduced in more companies.
| Many students finish their study and keep on the same company, so I think
| it could be a good point to lure students to this kind of conference too.
thats one of the most important points that I see also.

I think we must really recognize that a group of 2000 visitors will only
put out 20-50 really good good programmers and not more. Also in my mind
max. 20-50 companies will support the project (I'm happy if I be wrong
and it will be more).

To see the target group for that, we should first ask:
1. Who contributes development work (are there many companies, or more
~   freelancers/one man companies)
2. Who pays for all

It's fine that many contribute their statements to these thread, but we
also should get also a look to get result for the discussion, maybe a vote?

Facts (or to for voting):

- -> Many potential places in in germany
~ -> More central Darmstadt, Frankfurt, Karlsruhe
~   -> Outer places: Berlin, ...

- -> Time and Location
~ -> Be part of a big event like Linuxtag, Cebit
~   -> Organize own Event
~ -> Own event at an university

- -> Help
~   -> Location at a local TUG
~   -> TUG independent

- -> Presentational form
~ -> Small conference with up to 250 visitors
~ -> Big conference with up to 2000 visitors

I hope I have reduced many of the statements to the essentials.

Greetings Sven
