Hello Dan, hello list,

In an earlier post, Robert L. asked:

> - Why would you want a TYPO3company / -foundation / -organisation ?

(many gov) users need an organisation that could collect money from many
(gov) users and forward it to the right agencies/devs/users. This
"moneycollecting -keeping and -forwarding" needs to be transparent! This is
why *i* would want a foundation/-organisation.

Take accessibility for example. German authorities have to have w3c/wai
compliant websites. I work for a german authority. I (and all other
authorities) need tableless layouts / TemplaVoilà / alttexts etc... So
gov-users could collect money and make sure css_styled_imgtext, TemplaVoilà,
dmc_alttext (for 3.6.0) get finished/spomsored quickly.

(among many others:)
- collecting money / bookkeeping / accounting, managing trust-funds
(Treuhand)
- informing about development and sponsoring status
- planning TYPO3-Day

I could imagine to act like an interface between the TYPO3-Community and
german gov-users. I was contacted quite a few times when it was coming to
co-financing extensions for gov-users and when it came to solve problems
that gov-users/authorities have in common.
I am offering help.

Thanks and a nice monday

Jan
