[Typo3-dev] to kasper/TER owner: help for translators

hi there!
i hope this is the right list for this:

currently, translators have to "search for work" by literally browsing the
http://typo3.org/extensions/ , klicking _every_ extension, clicking the
details page, clicking the translate page and have a close look at the label
counters to see whether a given extension has to be translated to a specific
language or not.

this is _very_ boring and time-consuming, especially when the TER is under
heavy load.

so my question: couldn't the repository be changed in that way, that a
logged in user (one with an official translator role) could have some flag
associated to an extension (indicating "needs translation"/"already
translated"/"partly translated")? or something like a general list
displaying untranslated extension?

i think all the necessary information to program this is already in the TER
(typo3.org official translators, allowed/assigned languages, extension
language label counts .. ) so this would "only" need implemention.

what do you think?

greets

rene
