[Typo3-dev] additional parameters per field in cObj->FORM?

Hi,

I would like to disable some fields under special conditions but still need
to pass the information (which I gather otherwise with php).
Setting the type to 'hidden', does only half the trick, since I still want
to display this information.

Do I read the code of cObj->FORM correctly, that this is not on a per field
basis, but only on a per fieldtype basis?

Could please someone enlighten me?
