[Typo3-dev] DBAL - how to do it?

Hi all,

well, DBAL is just a nice thing to have. We also got several big 
companies and corporations using one of our products. And gosh - noone's 
using mySQL. MS-SQL and Oracle are preferred, DB2 on midrange systems.

What to do if an application won't fit the requirements? Just grab 
another one...

LPE and Workflow are more critical imho.
