[Typo3-dev] "template engine" as service?

i've been working with both things, smarty and typo3 and i really like
typo3 and love smarty... the only thing of typo3 which wasn't that
exciting that much, was the template-engine of typo3...

so i'd really like to contribute to your project and help with coding. i
think it's a very good idea
