Hi Martin
Will your new extention allow these changes:
I am currently testing Typo3 version 3.62.
It looks very inclusive and seems very easy to use.. thus far!
However If I may ask for a little direction:
In order for me to use this on my site.. I need to do some modifications to
the metadata information.
I need to be able to add to and modify meta data fields. The author adding
pages (templates?) needs
to have the ability to add and modify meta data from Pull down menus and
text fields. I have about
30+ meta data attributes that MUST be set on each page individually.
Many of the metadata I have to specify is company specific and proprietary.
IE:
<meta name="formattype" content="Imaging"> (choices can be: "Imaging,
picture, still, moving, etc)
<meta name="imagetype" content="jpg"> (choices can be: "jpg, gif, png, mov)
<meta name="source" content="imagery cameras"> (choices can be: Imagery
cameras, static cameras, satellite imagery)
<meta name="classification" content="confidential"> (choices can be: conf,
company proprietary)
THERE ARE MANY more that I have to add!!!
I have turned on (installed) the extended metadata extension that came with
the CMS and have noticed some
customization is possible.. but how far can I go with this? If I add to
the arrays... will I have to mod the
database? If so, where and which ones? Which pages will I have to edit?
If I could get someone to point me in the right direction .. I would be
very grateful.
I will continue to test but I hope that there is a an answer out there
somewhere!
Thanks for your time in reading this..
