[Typo3-dev] Apache Error- URGENT!

I have written an extension which has a BE module(under Tools) and a FE 
plug-in. It works fine on my workstation (WIMP, Typo3 ver. 3.6.2). But when 
I tried to access the BE module in the menu after installing on the target 
server (LAMP, Typo3 ver. 3.7.0), it gives an error in the right pane:

The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable 
to complete your request.

them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that 
may have caused the error.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an 
ErrorDocument to handle the request.

I have tried the extension in another already working site (LAMP, Typo3 ver. 
3.6.2), but it gives the same problem. Obviously there is some 
incompatibility of my extension with Apache but I am not being able to 
identify it. Can anybody help?
