[Typo3-dev] Templavoila invalid character?

Is characters like danish æøå supposed to be invalid characters in
TemplaVoila?

I get this error:
Data Structure ERROR: Line 115: Invalid character

Line 115 contains this:
<title>Højre Blok</title>

Now if remove the ø char. to this:
<title>Hjre Blok</title>

The error will disspear.
