Hmm, I'm not sure if I got you right...
My proposal was just a try to improve the _existing_ command line interface 
API, because there are some problems left as described in "Inside TYPO3" 
(see my initial mail). It is not a new feature, it's just a different way to 
retrieve the required path of a CLI script. Unlike the existing API's 
retrieval this proposal could (maybe?) solve the issue for different 
operating systems/shells.
