Hi everybody!

svn certainly is far superior to cvs. Since the most downloads of typo3 
AND extensions are not done via cvs it might be possible to simply use 
another server for development, which could then be based upon svn.

It would be interesting to see how much traffic is currently being 
caused by cvs check-ins and updates. If it's not too much, then it won't 
be difficult to find someone to host svn (which also causes less traffic 
because of the better handling of binaries).

Any thoughts about this?
