[Typo3-dev] LDAP System Extensions II

Hello together,

there has been exactly one answer via private email to my post of the 
17. of November coming from Norman Seibert the author of the eu_ldap 
extension greeting the fact that a - in his words - "modern" LDAP 
extension was available now.

Does that mean:
- there is no interest for a system extension dealing with LDAP 
authentification
- there is no interest for a "new" extension dealing with LDAP 
authentification - as opposed to the eu_ldap Ext.
- there is no interest for a new way of handling authentification in 
the TYPO3 framework in general
- there was no time to have a look at the extension system provided
- there was time to have a look but it was to difficult to use and no 
time to ask for help
...

I am not sure what to make of the silence on the topic.
Nonetheless, I would like to keep to the timeframe set and move on 
after coming friday.
Basicly, that will leave Kasper, René and me to decide on our own what 
path to take in that chapter.
