 Smarty is a template system, it's solely developed for this purpose, so why
 shouldn't it be superior to anything that Typo3 can offer in this
 regard? (I have no doubts about that though)... anyway I simply
 suggested what I think is applicable for such a task... if anybody
 actually picks it up is another story...
