[Typo3-dev] RC2: "FreeType is apparently not installed"evenwhenit works for 3.6.0 RC1

In that case the tar.gz packages for RC2 don't seem to contain

> arial.ttf
> verdana.ttf

So it does look as if this thread needs to go on the 'Install' list perhaps? Unless the code needs to be changed to check for 'Nimbus' or 'Vera' by default rather than Verdana (which may help get round licencing and distribution issues?).

Thanks Stephane,

Matt

OK - I found the problem - make sure that you have the correct fonts in BOTH the
  following directories:

  <website-directory>/t3lib/fonts
  <website-directory>/typo3/t3lib/fonts

  The required fonts being:

  arial.ttf
  nimbus.ttf
  vera.ttf
verdana.ttf (the install-tool will check for this specific TTF file)

Sorry to have thought that RC2 may have an issue, where it really was a user
mistake, when installing the new tgz package onto a Windows system (i.e. no
links) -- even though I followed the specific Windows upgrade/install
instructions from the docs, I overlooked that directory.

  Regards,
  Stephane
