[Typo3-dev] "Clean up" in the extension repository?

When you are browsing the extension manager or typo3.org for that matter,
it's hard to know if it's a good healthy extension you are downloading or if
it's an extension which might impose problems (now or when upgrading
something later).
The description of the extension can be ohh so good, but might not be the
best bet in the long run.

Just an idea.
Wouldn't it be nice if extensions were reviewed by an 'Quality review team'?
I'm not thinking as much about the usage of the extension but more
code-wise.
That is if the code of the exension lives up to certain coding rules.

If a developer asks for a quality review for his extension, he should get
comments about his work and then get a "Typo3 Approved"-stamp or something
like that if the extension lives up to the standards. Or maybe a star-points
system.

The quality of the extension should of course be very visible in the
extension manager.

Or how about a reviewsystem or pollsystem???

Any comments?
