I think you are right.
I didn't think that it was a real option for me to integrate those
extensions I have
collected into tt_news instead of news_pack.
But I'm not sure if my code-quality is on pair with Kaspers(actually pretty
sure it
isn't).

The idea behind news_pack was generally to make it more simple to get the
features of 4 extensions, only installing 2. But only installing 1, is of
course
even better.
