What i think is funny, is that with an RCx out for testing, shouldn't there be a feature freeze or something. All extensions depend on some core points (correct me if i am wrong). Changing core stuff in an RC should not happen, i think. Looking at KDE for example. The feature freeze was way before releasing an RC and only serious bug patches were accepted. Once the final is out, changes are allowed again. Maybe this is what is postponing 3.6 (4.0?), because bug fixing and rewriting main core parts are not the same thing. Oh well... just my 2 cent.
