[Typo3-dev] multible Extensions on same installation

Hi Group,

I have a question regarding the performance of typo3 when there are 
several sites running on the same T3 instance.

Will extensions installed on different Sites slow down the performance 
of all other sites too? When are extensions loaded? Only on pages where 
they are integrated or by default whenever t3 is called?

In the latter case it would make sence to use different T3 
installations for different sites.
