[Typo3-dev] FYI: Status on Mount Points

The support for Mount Points has been completely reworked in TYPO3. In
fact it has taken much more time than I ever expected (some 5-7 working
days!). Handling has been abstracted into some functions and the support
in menus and linking functions has been extended as much as possible.
Only a few incompatibilities is left now.
I expect that all reported bugs is now solved (and many new features has
been added under-the-hood)
For a complete list see the Core Changelog where I have tracked the
major points.

PLEASE do me a favor and test the new changes if you are using Mount
Points (or have had problems with them) and report any problems
ASAP so they can be fixed while the issues are in fresh memory!!! 
Changes are available in CVS.
