[Typo3-dev] RTE dispaear after CVS update

Actually I wanted to support some of the "HTMLarea" based RTEs on TER
but in real life I had to start my own just in order to test the API and
see how well it works.
I have registered a key, "rtehtmlarea", and will publish some alpha
code, maybe to "typo3xdev" first. Then I will provide the basic
framework which I believe to be the right direction to push it (for
instance maintaining as much similarity and configuration compatibility
with "rte" as possible) and let others take it over.

My motivation is that I'm using Linux now (Firefox) and therefore needs
a well working RTE. But obviously I could spare the time it takes to
make it...

It's not a bug, it's a missing feature.
