Thanks everyone, just keep it coming.

I just want to throw into the discussion here that the intension is not
to roll out a substitute for real encryption. The function is 10 lines
and just came in handy for the email-address protection against
spam-bots. For that purpose it is more than enough I suppose. And I
could imagine that it is handy for other things as well...
