It's a professionnal costly solution (750$ per user!) but they also have a licence free for open projects. http://www.perforce.com/perforce/opensource-faq.html

The sad thing with Perforce is their annual licence thing. You have to renew the licence each year but that price for a project of the quality of TYPO3 could be worth the hassle.
