[Typo3-dev] DBA Project

Hi,

since the keywords Database Abstraction Layer are showing up more often during 
the last weeks I would like to draw the attention of developers who are 
interested in this topic towards the project description [1] on typo3.org. 
From there you can download a document in OpenOffice format where I have put 
together some very basic information.

I would like to start a discussion regarding the integration of a DBA that 
results in:

Recommendation which existing DBA to use
Roadmap for implementing a chosen DBA

An idea would be to spend (some of) the evenings in Kitzbuehl discussing the 
DBA project.
