Hi Richard!

You're definitely correct about css and images, but I think at least for 
css there are some very functional workarounds available. The 
image-problem certainly disqualifies flash (I completely forgot about it!).
Now for your Unicode-Problems: In earlier flash MX versions (especially 
when using flash remoting without the lastest update) there still were 
problems with unicode encoding. Right now, there are no such problems 
anymore and all "Umlauts" work perfectly. I am using amfphp in a bigger 
project right now, and it has proven to be very reliable and stable.

BtW, doesn't some brand-new Mozilla sport ActiveX-compatibility under 
win32 ? I thought I saw that somewhere...
