[Typo3-dev] Processing of new doktype

Hi dev-list

I've created a new doktype called 'Survey' and now I would like to do some
processing whenever pages with this doktype is being generated - possibly
before AND after any content element on the page has been generated. Does
anyone know which of the core classes and functions of Typo3 I have to
extend in order to achieve this?
