In Your question two of the choices are actually the same 1) and 3), as
Centos is free variant of the RHEL. You can get comprehensive support by
using Centos mailing lists.
If You want to make stable server for Typo3 (and possible for other
applications) I would like to recommend You to use Centos.
I've been using Centos (and also Tao which is actually also RHEL clone)
for years. Updating and upgrading has been easy and these distros are
for professional use, which means that updating is quaranteed for future
(which is not so obvious wiht other distros You mentioned). Tao is going
to be merged into CentOS during this summer, so look at
http://www.centos.org .
I've been using for our servers these RHEL clones for years without any
major problems, I've even at home desktop running CentOS (of course some
modifications for my personal needs). In our servers we have tens of
domains made with Typo3.
CentOS distros are easily managed with Webmin ( http://www.webmin.com ).
To get more information of various Linux distros, please look at
http://distrowatch.com/
And one note of the response of http server; it depends mostly of Your
hardware, processor and memory. It depends also how You setup Your
server programs and for last of course of Your line capacity. How Typo3
responds doesn't depend of which distro You have but these three main
prerequisites.
Best regards and luck with Your choice,
Kari
