[Typo3-debian] installation on debian within ispconfig

Hmmm. I do a "chmod 777 /var/www/web1/web"
but  the same message that the file is not found.
I can not imagine that this is a permission error. When there is " not 
writeable" or something like this okay but the message is "not found"
and the files are in this place.
I tried it also with the dummy package, same error.
What could it be?

I read during googeling that typo3 needs a "htdocs" file where typo3 is in. 
Could this cause the problem?
ISPconfig creates the web-folder and so I dont have a htdocs folder.
Is it really important how this file is called? And when it is so then I dont 
have an "easy" hosting environment cause then I have to edit pathes manually 
and that should not be so.
