Contacted the author and he mailt me the following:

plugin.tx_thmailformplus_pi1.emailParameter = -f

I added this to the setup in my template and it's functioning again.

Thanks for your reply and Peter Luser for the answer. I will close this bug 
in the bugtracker of TYPO3.
