[Typo3-debian] Performance problems...

I have this problem, that sometimes I get very long pauses when surfing
around my homepage.
I have tried to setup Apache to show server status. I'm not very good at
reading the outputs of it, but sometimes the page shows 5-15 seconds
KeepAlives.

Any ideas what can cause this?
Could it be a MySql problem in someway?

What would be the best way to track down the problem?
