[Typo3-debian] Debian PHP4-GD2 without gif support, what can i do?

Hello Michael, hello dear list,


ok, this might be correct. However, i could easily live with the
"PNG-ONLY-OPTION", if gd2 only would work well then.

All installtool image-processing-tests run fine! Only the gd2-test isn't
excellent. But in my *real* testpage everything fails totally.

I don't want to talk much: Please be all invited to a screenshot, that
should explain *why* i dont want to stick to this gd2 version with no
gif-support, because i believe, that the following problems would *not*
occur with gif-supported-version:
