[Typo3-debian] Strange convertion of directory path in typo3-site-installer.sh

dear list.

i installed the typo3-site-installer package and run

<--- snip
davis:/tmp# typo3-site-installer.sh -d /tmp/test
---> snap
as described in the README-file.

but instead of being installing into /tmp/test the site is found in 
/tmp/_tmp_test
i expect that the given path /tmp/test is converted into _tmp_test and 
this directory is created in ./

bug or feature?
