did you find a solution for PDF reading support?

I have xpdf installed:
xpdf-common/stable uptodate 1.00-3.1
xpdf-utils/stable uptodate 1.00-3.1

but
There was no result from the ImageMagick operation
Below there's a dump of the ImageMagick commands executed:

/usr/bin/nice /usr/bin/identify 
/var/www/sites/bla/typo3/ext/install/imgs/pdf_from_imagemagick.pdf

I don`t really need it yet but it would be nice to know.
