Child’s Dream is a Swiss and Thai registered Charity Organization (NGO)
helping children in need in the Mekong Sub-Region of Asia. We operate out of
Chiang Mai / Thailand. For more information, please visit our website

16 members (two Swiss founders, eight Thai staff and currently six foreign
volunteers).

 

Since our organization is growing rapidly, we urgently need to technically
upgrade our website, which is our most powerful link to the world. We have
approx. 550 daily hits and the majority of our contacts/sponsors find us
through search engines.   

 

 

We are looking for a

 

 

Volunteer

with excellent IT skills and experience with open source CMS (“Typo3”)
skills

 

who is interested in an ‘Internship/Short-Term Job’ working for an NGO in
Chiang Mai, in wonderful Northern Thailand for a couple of months. Please
note that this is a volunteer position only and no compensation is paid.
Please only approach us if you are interested and able to work for free.




 

We are looking for somebody who:

-       has the required knowledge and working experience with open source
CMS Typo3

-       has built a website on Typo3

-       is familiar with Typo3 templates and template building

 

Task

-       to completely change our current website HYPERLINK
"http://www.childsdream.org"www.childsdream.org into a “typo 3” website
(adapting the current layout 1:1, no changes needed)

 

Start date

-       as soon as possible

 

Duration of assignment

-       approx. 2-3 months or

-       according to time used to accomplish the required tasks
