****************************************************************
1. Austria - Kitzbühel: NOICHL, if he can find a vacant week

The bad news are that Noichl is not available. There is another place nearby
we could go to:

Niederstrasserhof in Oberndorf, 6km from Kitzbühel
Termin: 02.01.2005 09.01.2005

Price half board/seven nights: 245,-- Euros

The lodge has 100 Beds

Pictures at:
http://www.niederstrasserhof.at

6 day ski pass 176,-- Euro

My vote: this is my first choice

2. AUSTRIA - Arlberg
 > They have two hotels adjacent to each other there.
 > Arlberg is probably one of the best ski areas in the alps, with usually lots
 > of Snow.

Gasthof Spullersee, Arlberg 3 stars hotel
08.01.2005 15.01.2005

Half board/7 nights: Euros 330,--

rooms:

16 x 3 Beds
2 X 4 Beds
2 X 1 Beds
12 X Double

More info and pictures: http://www.gasthof-spullersee.com

6 day ski pass Arlberg 184,-- Euros

My vote: too far from ski area.

3. SWITZERLAND - Engadin

 > He owns Chiesa Quattervals in S'Chanf. S'chanf is 20 min by train/bus from
 > St. Moritz and a cute little village. The house is quite beautiful and 400
 > years old. Engadin is my "home" resort and very varied and has many
 > different spots, for beginners and very advanced skiers/boarders alike.
 > The disadvantage is, that there is no ski-resort without getting on a bus or
 > train. But that is the same situation as with Noichl.

Chesa Quattervals in S-chanf
02.01.2005 08.01.2005 or 09.01.2005

Full board: (breakfast,Lunch packs, Dinner)

A cook is at our disposal, we have to take care of preparing tables and
doing the washing-up.

70 beds total.

30 Euros per person = 210 Euros per week.

More info: http://www.quattervals.ch/Seite1.htm

It has a dining hall, three "lounges" and 13 dormitories.

My vote: this is my second choice. Great area, but also daily commuting to
ski area.

4. Switzerland - Wallis

Nouvelle Voliere 20.02.-26.02.2005

Price with half board/7nights: approx 160 Euros (!)

5 leisure rooms, 18 dormitories, 100 beds capacity.

Pictures at http://www.nouvellevoliere.ch

The ski area of torgon is part of les Gets/Avoriaz... Which is on the french
side of the alps.

My vote: the cheapest option, but the ski area is not looking too attractive
to me.

5. France - Val Thorens:

Date: 15 to 22.01.2005

Included: 7 nights at le Cheval Blanc + 6 days Val Thorens Skipass*

Appartement Price / Persons in Euros / "Leerbett"-price in Euros (Cost of
non-used
bed p. Appartment)
Studio 2/4 Pers,. Standard 249 Euros /139 Euros
Studio 2/4 Pers. Superior 269 Euros / 159 Euros
Appt 5/6 Pers. Standard 239 Euros / 129 Euros
Appt 5/6 Pers. Superior 259 Euros / 149 Euros

+ 230 Euros deposit per Appartment, to be returned after the week.

* 3 Vallées Skipass Upgrade: 50 Euros p./ Person

+ conference room 7 halve days incl. Overhead Projector and water:
1350 Euros + 16% VAT

www.lechevalblanc.com is located directly at the slopes, there are
kitchenettes in every room, but i am also inquiring about a half board
solution like this year, which is better for socialising.

6. Italy - Cortina D'Ampezzo

1. Hotel Des Alpes are Hotel Nord next to each other and offer the
following:

Sunday, 23.rd To 30.th of January 2005.

Half board per week and person: Euro 360,00

Photos:

My vote: great area, but group is divided in two hotels.
