koenntest auch, musst aber nicht;

EXT Manager, Installier die Extension "local" dh. sie wird in 
/typo3conf/ext/nameofextension installiert;
diese lokalen EXT haben Vorrang gegenueber "globalen" Extensions, welche in 
/typo3/ext/nameofextension liegen;
