I suppose if the HTML layout for common controls and UI elements was
well defined, a lot of the functionality could be automatically
applied.

EG, if extension developers know to lay out a paged sortable table
with specific HTML, then the BEMooUI and the BEjQueryUI could both
interact with it in whichever way they desired, without forcing
extension developers to throw their lot in with one framework or the
other.

Given that I know precious little about the TYPO3 BE or the proposed
structure for v5, though, it's all just harmless conjecture from my
point of view :)
